Pricing: $10/person, 5 guest minimum, 15 guest maximum.

Tours are approximately 1 mile over 90 minutes. Exact time depends on walking pace and can vary from 1-2 hours.
What Makes a City Beautiful? is our tour of downtown to midtown. We discuss indigenous groups, European settlement, development of the city, creation of the State Capitol, life in the first black and multiethnic neighborhood, the City Beautiful movement, and changes to the city over the past hundred years. We look at legacies of politics, ethnic tensions, and daily life in shaping the city.
Starting location: Riverfront Park at Front St & Mary St
Ending location: Broad St Market
